Gingseng Oolong Leaf ENERGY Tea

Best known as the Emperor's Tea, Ginseng Oolong is an authentic royal tea from China. Sourced directly from the best tea estates of China, this tea is a classic blend of Ginseng, an important component of Chinese traditional medicine and Formosa Oolong scented with Osmanthus flower.
Sweet, aromatic with a strong lingering taste, Radhikas Fine Teas Gingseng Oolong Leaf ENERGY Tea is a semi-fermented, energising tea that offers the best of green and black tea. Sip it for Ginseng's age-old healing properties or for its aftertaste, this unique brew is bound to captivate your taste buds in no time.
Radhika's Tea Tip:
1) Food:
-After steeping for multiple times, you can reuse the steeped leaves in salads or garnish your veggies with the same.
-You can use the infusion in curries for a smokey flavour
2) VaniTea:
Drink this antioxidant-rich infusion regularly for a glowing you inside out.

How To Brew

How To Brew
  • Water is Tea’s best friend

  • Take a *pinch of Gingseng Oolong Leaf ENERGY Tea blend in your infuser cup, double it incase of a kettle

  • Boil water till bubbles appear

  • Pour water over the leaves and cover the cup or kettle for steeping

  • Wait for 2 minutes.

  • As soon as the pellets open, strain and sip

  • This fine tea can be re-steeped up to 3-5 times depending on your palette although Radhika recommends the third one as the best

  • Reduce the steeping time by 30 seconds as you continue to re-steep progressively

  • Alternatively, you can serve it as a chilled infusion by cooling it for 2-3 hours and adding a dash of honey and cinnamon

*At RadhikasFineTeas we believe a recipe for tea simply spoils it, instead a pinch of your favorite leaf is what you need to explore the nuances and notes of tea as it unfurls and expands, adjusting with more or less leaf or more or less water.
So a pinch is thus taking for measurements sake a TABLESPOON of the leaf or 2 grams for 8 ounces of water.
