Lanka Sencha Green Leaf ENERGY Tea

Inspired and curated by the Sencha technique, this Lanka tea is a fine tea that's rare to find and one of its kind. A favourite among all those tea connoisseurs who love green tea for it's true, subtle and smooth flavour, the Lanka Sencha Green Leaf ENERGY Tea gives you all that with a delicate and grassy note.
Radhika's Tea Tip:
1. Food: After steeping for multiple times, you can reuse the steeped leaves in salads or garnish your veggies with the same.
2. VaniTea: Sip on this tea or drink away for a glorious skin as it has high levels of antioxidants. You can also dab the ice cubes made out of the infusion to cure blemishes.

How To Brew

How To Brew
  • Water is Tea’s best friend

  • Take one tablespoon of Lanka Sencha Green Leaf ENERGY Tea in your infuser cup, or double it incase of a kettle

  • Boil water and wait till the bubbles calm

  • Pour water over the leaves

  • Cover the cup or kettle with a lid to steep

  • Steep for 4 to 6 minutes

  • Strain and sip

  • These leaves can be re-steeped up to 2 to 3 times depending on your palate although Radhika recommends the third steep as the best one.

  • You can reduce the steeping time to by 30 seconds with every progressive steeping.

  • Alternatively, you can serve it as a chilled infusion by cooling it for 2-3 hours and adding a dash of honey and cinnamon

*At RadhikasFineTeas we believe a recipe for tea simply spoils it, instead a pinch of your favorite leaf is what you need to explore the nuances and notes of tea as it unfurls and expands, adjusting with more or less leaf or more or less water.
So a pinch is thus taking for measurements sake a TABLESPOON of the leaf or 2 grams for 8 ounces of water.
